Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Lash Tinting.

Lash tints usually last three to six weeks depending on your natural lash growth cycle and aftercare. Avoid oil-based cleansers and exfoliation around the eye to maximize longevity. Regular touch-ups every 4–6 weeks help maintain consistent color and intensity.

Yes — when performed professionally. We use Intensive Eyes dyes and follow strict sanitation and patch-testing protocols for sensitive clients and contact lens wearers. Remove lenses during the service and inform your technician of any eye conditions or allergies beforehand.

No — tinting darkens the natural lashes without adding product weight or texture. When applied correctly, dye coats the hair shaft from root to tip, providing color without clumping. The result is lightweight, natural-looking depth rather than a heavy feel.

Arrive with clean, makeup-free eyes. Avoid waterproof mascara, lash serums, and recent eyelash extensions for best results. If you have allergies or recent eye procedures, notify us beforehand. Plan about 20–30 minutes for the service and a quick patch test if required.

Side effects are rare but can include temporary irritation or allergic reaction. We perform a consultation and patch test for new clients and use professional-grade Intensive Eyes products. Follow aftercare instructions and contact us if you experience redness, swelling, or prolonged discomfort.

Avoid water, steam, and eye makeup for at least 24 hours to allow the dye to fully set. After 24 hours you can resume normal cleansing and cosmetics, but avoid oil-based removers to prolong tint longevity.
